Burglaries on the rise

Once again we are seeing a rise in vehicle burglaries. This problem can only be deterred with the help of our community.  

Remember to take all valuables out of the vehicle when you park. Roll up your windows and secure the vehicle. Park in a lighted area and avoid dark alleys and parking lots. 

If you park your vehicle in a garage, be sure to secure your garage at the end of your day. Sensor lights are great for keeping the electricity bill down and still providing that security. There are also wireless security devices that are set off by motion in the area, which work really well and are able to capture the criminals action.
