The Thorndale Bulldogs boys’ basketball team traveled to Giddings on Monday, Feb. 17, to take on the Ganado Indians in the Bi-District round of the playoffs.
The Thorndale Lady Dogs girls’ basketball team traveled to Giddings on Tuesday, Feb. 11, to take on the Schulenburg Lady Horns in the Bi-District round of the playoffs.
The Thorndale Bulldogs remain undefeated with a perfect 10-0 record in district after two wins this week.
Thorndale Powerlifting competed at Rosebud-Lott last weekend. The Lady Dogs finished third as a team. Irene Flores was third place in 114lb class. Belle Roberson was second place in 132lb class.
The Thorndale Bulldogs boys’ basketball team returned home to host the Little River Academy Bumblebees on Friday, Jan. 3. The Bulldogs were victorious and defeated the Bumblebees 59-42.
