BME students participate in Math-A-Thon

The first and second graders at Ben Milam Elementary participated in the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Math-a-Thon in February. The participating students raised $3,093 for the patients of St. Jude. Top fundraisers for the event included: Madeline Basonic with $1,000, Makenzie Fleming with $605, and Joshua Rubac with $335.  Coordinator for the event was Ramona Fincher.
