Milam County Junior Livestock Show Baked Goods Donation Sale set for March 20

The Milam County Junior Livestock Show Baked Goods division will look a little different this year. 4-H and FFA members will be baking cookies, pies, and cakes to be judged on Saturday, March 20.

They will also be interviewing for the chance to win showmanship awards. These youth work very hard on these baked goods and build some great life skills!

New this year, the youth’s baked goods will not be auctioned off in the regular auction to be held on Saturday, March 27. However, anyone can come and purchase all baked goods from the youth.

At the conclusion of the competition, all baked goods will be for sale to the public. This Donation Sale will be from 1:30-2:30 p..m. on March 20. Minimum price will be $25 for each item and you will receive your baked item at that time of your purchase. Come out and get you a cake, pie, or a batch of cookies and support these fine bakers from Milam County.

They encourage the public including businesses and organizations to come and support these youth! Some of these youth do not show animals, so this is an opportunity to help support them as well. If you do not want to buy any baked items, you can always come out and support them still!
