Burn Ban in effect

Milam County commissioners reinstated the burn ban for the county late last week. The ban will remain in effect for 90 days. Milam County Judge Bill Whitmire said conditions are getting pretty dry out there and our local fire departments are beginning to feel the effects. Please stay safe.
