City council approves several items

The Cameron City Council took action on several public hearings during a meeting Tuesday night.

During the meeting, a public hearing was held for a special use permit application to place a HUD Code Manufactured Home on Lot 6 in Sunset Terrace Addition. 

Council approved the request after hearing that Planning and Zoning had approved it.

Council also held public hearings on short form subdivisions in the Vaculin Addition and the Almengor Addition.

Code Enforcement Officer Ricky McCall said the two property owners are just planning to switch some property in this request.

In other business council also: tabled a discussion of 2023 Incomplete Streets and Sewer Issues in the 500 block of North Travis; approved an interlocal agreement with Milam County Precincts 1 and 2; and tabled appointments to the Planning and Zoning Commission.
