MCT to stage romcom “Love…or Best Offer”

Milam Community Theater will present the delightfully funny romantic comedy “Love…or Best Offer,”  Nov. 2, 3, 9, and 10 at the Williams Event Center in Cameron.

“Love…or Best Offer” is a romantic comedy about the trials and tribulations, mostly trials, of online dating in the “over 50” generation.

Cheryl, played by Victoria Otto, is a widow of two years, Stan, played by Travis Otto, is newly divorced. After failed blind dates, their best friends, Lori (Savanna Everett) and Dave (Seth Tyson), convince them to try online dating with the new dating website, “Friends, Love or Whatever.” 

With the worst dating advice in the world from their friends, Cheryl and Stan set out to find happiness and true love online. All the struggles of online dating come to the forefront, including overcoming heartbreak and rejection, all in an effort to find love, or best offer.

Sheryl Teetz directs this production.

The curtain rises on both Saturday performances at 7 p.m. The Sunday shows are at 2 p.m.
