Milam County 4-H Consumer teams are headed for State
Monday, April 17, was a fantastic day for our Milam County 4-H Consumer Decision making teams. Two senior teams and two individuals are going to Texas 4-H Roundup State Competition. State competition will be held in June at Texas A&M University.
Congratulations to the following:
Tessa Vaculin - first place individual - State Bound!
Robert Miller - third place individual - State Bound!
Team 1 was first place: State Bound. Team members are JW Hollas – fourth individual; Macy McDaniel – fifith individual; Camryn Green and Colton Barbo.
Team 2 was third place - State Bound. Team members are Robert Miller – third individual; Klay Eschberger, Ryan Luckey, and Jack Luckey.

Intermediates: Kaylor Eschberger - third place individual , Noah Bradley , Jett Vaculin, Luke Holcombe , Carlie Eason , and Maddie Basonic.
Juniors: Bohn Towery, Callen Vaculin. Kendall Hertenberger
Senior: Adison Dach.
Consumer Decision Making is a great project to teach youth life skills. 4-H members learn how to be a better shopper and consumer. They learn need versus want and quality versus what they might just want or what is on sale. It’s a great skill that many youth will use for the rest of their lives. The new year will start in September.
