Two wounded in shooting
Two people were wounded after a Monday night shootingin Cameron.
Cameron Police responded about 7 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21, to the 700 block of Martin Luther King in reference to a shooting that had occurred.
Cameron PD Sgt. Zack Burks said officers arrived on scene and learned two victims had been transported away from the area by personal vehicles.
During their investigation, Burks said police learned a 17-year-old male and 28-year-old female had sustained gunshot wounds. Both were listed in stable condition after being transported to the hospital.
Police Chief Lonnie Gosch said this is believed to be an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
