Cameron Police Department to hold warrant round up

Cameron Police Department will be conducting and participating in a Warrant Round-Up in May.

If an individual has an active warrant, no matter how old the warrant may be, he or she will be tracked down and arrested. The roundup is designed to target thousands of defendants with traffic, parking, city ordinance, penal code and higher charge warrants from participating jurisdictions. 

Arrests are expected to begin May 18 and could last several days. 

Individuals that believe they have warrants for their arrest can go to the city website to check at camerontexas.net. 

Residents with outstanding warrants are encouraged to pay in person at Cameron Municipal Court or call (866) 955-5455 to make payment arrangements. For more information, call (254) 697-2372.
