Cameron VFD Honors

The Cameron Volunteer Fire Department held their annual Ladies Appreciation and Awards Banquet on Friday night at the Williams Event Center. The banquet was dedicated to Harold Soefje. Pictured above, awards were handed out as follows (from left) Firefighter of the Year is Tim Cheatham; Chiefs Award went to Alvin Fail; Rookie of the Year went to Mark Boyer; and  Officer of the Year was Phillip Dohnalik. The CVFD honored Former Fire Chief Henry Horelica with a specially-designed wall hanging for his retirement after 50 years of service to Cameron.
