Christmas Parade on Dec. 5
The Cameron Christmas Parade, Festival and Fireworks is set for Thursday, Dec. 5, in downtown Cameron.
This year’s theme is Christmas Through the Years - Past, Present and Future.
What was your favorite Christmas year? What was the best-selling toy through the years? Yo-yo's, Barbie, Furbies, Hola-Hoops, Train sets, Legos. This year float decorations and themes are endless. The Chamber is hoping to see a disco theme or maybe hippies with peace and love and smiley faces will show up. What about Christmas in the future? We are sure this year will be as creative as the years past and we're looking forward to how creative Cameron can get.
Festivities kick off in our historic downtown square at 5 p.m. with, music, food trucks, wine trucks, arts and crafts and more.
The Parade starts at 6:30 p.m. You don’t want to miss all the amazing floats, and vehicles from our local businesses and individuals that make Cameron come alive with Christmas-themed decorations and characters!
As we do every year, Santa will make his way thru the square in full Cameron style. Immediately following the parade stick around for our biggest fireworks show bursting high over the square, graciously sponsored by EBCO, General Contractors, LTD.
The Chamber invites you to stick around after the parade and fireworks to shop our local stores who will be open before and after the parade and fireworks. Sure to check off those Christmas List items. Check out all the renovations and new businesses downtown Cameron.
Santa will also be downtown on the square after the parade and fireworks, so be sure to take your picture with Santa.
Entry deadline for the parade is Friday, Nov. 29, at 4 p.m.
