City council looking for comprehensive plan input
The City of Cameron is looking for help in collecting information from residents about its upcoming comprehensive plan for the next 10 years.
The plan will review existing conditions and provide recommendations on housing, land use, economic development, the Central Business District, parks and recreation and infrastructure opportunities (water, sewage, drainage and streets.)

Public participation is key to the success of the plan and the city is looking for the public’s contribution to understand the needs of Cameron residents.
The survey is available until March 31.
Council filings
Cameron voters will only have one contested race for city council in May.
Cameron Ward 3 Councilman Kyle Deal and Ward 1 Councilman Maurice Goza have filed for there respective spots on council.
Kyle Nuttall and Cliff Cryer have filed for Council Member At-Large.
