City to shut off water Thursday night

The City of Cameron announced that the water towers will be shut off at 10 p.m. today, March 3, for valve maintenance.
The work is expected to take four hours or less. The maintenance will allow work downtown on water lines to be completed.
During this time, citizens will have little to no water pressure. A boil water order is now expected once service is restored. Residents are urged to prepare for this shut off.
The city will notify residents when the boil water notice expires.
