COVID cases rise to 112 with 21 active in Milam County

The total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases climbed to 112 over the weekend, with 21 active cases.

Milam County Judge Steve Young said the sharp rise in cases is due to results from nursing home testing starting to come in.

As of 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, the stats were as follows:

112 total confirmed cases

21 active cases

50 being monitored

Total monitored to date: 293

2 hospitalized

1 fatality
