COVID UPDATE: 104 active cases of COVID in county

COVID Report from Judge Steve Young for Dec. 4, 2020:

Another new record number of active cases today - 104.  This is up eleven from yesterday. 

This is the most active cases we have ever had since the pandemic started. 

Today we have six new PCR cases and seventeen new probable cases to report.  Twelve cases were discharged, including eight PCR cases and four probable cases. 

Forty-one individuals were tested in Cameron with twelve positive results. 

One person was admitted to a hospital and one was discharged.

Over the last 15 days of testing, we have tested 502 individuals with 138 positive results, which is a 27% positivity rate.

Today there is testing in Buckholts at the Buckholts VFD from 8 a.m. to noon.

  3. Confirmed probable (antigen) cases 290 up 17
  4. Confirmed active probable cases 58 – up 13

  6. Currently monitored individuals 151 – down 5
    1. Cumulative monitored individuals – 1,611
  7. Hospitalizations 4 – no change
  8. Deaths 9 – no change
