COVID UPDATE: 12 new COVID-19 cases announced
There wer 12 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Milam County reported for July 9.
"We don’t think these are any of the 400 tested last week," Milam County Judge Steve Young said. "We are really disappointed with the testing done by the State, because 11 days later, we have no results.
The current statisitics are now:
149 confirmed cases
53 active cases
108 individuals currently being monitored
394 cumulative monitored
6 hospitalized, with one on a ventilator and another in ICU
1 death
"We have several other cases to confirm and those will be reported tomorrow," Young said.
