COVID UPDATE: Cases still rising

COVID Update for Dec. 8, 2020, from Milam County Judge Steve Young:

Another long day of COVID cases. 

We tested 68 individuals in Rockdale with 19 positive results.

In the last 17 days of testing, we have tested 581 individuals in Milam County with 139 positive results with a positivity rate of 24 percent. In addition, we have 16 PCR infections and seven probable infections to report in the county today. Further, we had four individuals admitted to local hospitals today.

3. Confirmed probable (antigen) cases 317 up 7
4. Confirmed active probable cases 64
5. Total confirmed cases in Milam County 110 – down 10
6. Currently monitored individuals 179 – up 4
