COVID UPDATE: County records 15 new cases
Milam County Judge Steve Young reported Thursday night that there are 15 new cases in the county.
"We have fifteen new active cases to report in Milam County today; six new PCR cases and nine new probable cases," he said. "Three PCR cases were discharged, and five probable cases were discharged. No new hospital admissions."
He said 36 individuals were tested in Cameron with nine positive results on Thursday. Testing will be in Buckholts today, Nov. 20, from 8 a.m. to noon. If you are a Milam County resident with COVID symptoms, come see us for a free antigen test.
The state will conduct free testing on Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Milano fire station for anyone, with or without symptoms.

- Confirmed PCR Cases 615 up 6
- Confirmed active PCR Cases 25 up 3
- Confirmed probable (antigen) cases 199 – up 9
- Confirmed active probable cases 40 – up 4
- Total confirmed cases in Milam County 65 – up 7
- Monitored individuals 182– up 17
- Hospitalizations 4 – no change
- Deaths 9 – no change
Texas Cases:
Governor Abbott announced today that there will be not be another shutdown of the State. However, some additional restrictions may be imposed in areas with lots of cases.

Yesterday there were 170,161 new confirmed cases, 57,149 recoveries, 1,848 deaths. The current 7-day rolling average of 161,166 new cases/day grew 61.6 percent from 14 days ago, while the average of 1,245 deaths/day grew 30.6 percent.
