COVID UPDATE: County sets record for active cases

COVID update from County Judge Steve Young for Nov. 25:

As of this report, we have the most active cases in Milam County, since the beginning of the pandemic.  We have 83 active cases.  This is a record high for active cases in our County!

We have ten new active cases to report in Milam County today; three new PCR cases and seven new probable cases.  No PCR cases were discharged, and four probable cases were discharged.  One individual was admitted to a hospital and one was discharged.COVID update from County Judge Steve Young for Nov. 25:

Today we tested twenty six individuals in Milano with six positive results. Over the last 12 days of testing, we have tested 386 individuals, with 96 positive results for a 25 percent positivity rate.  This is very high!

We will not test on Thanksgiving Day or Friday, November 27, 2020.  We will resume testing on Monday, Nov. 30, 2020 in Rockdale. A special thanks to our testing crew: Angelica, Kimberley, George, John and Michelle for putting themselves at risk, so we can have testing.
