COVID UPDATE: Milam County reports another death
Milam County has added another fatility from the COVID-19 virus.
"We have one new fatality to report today," Milam County Judge Steve Young reported on Sunday night. "This individual was from the central part of the county and died in a local hospital. This is our ninth death in the county since the pandemic began."
He said there were no new PCR cases and seven discharged PCR cases on Sunday night., with one new probable case and one probable case was discharged from the active list.
The county will be testing in Rockdale from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, Nov. 9. If you are a Milam County resident and you have COVID symptoms, please come see us for a free antigen, rapid test.

Yesterday there were 7,839 new confirmed cases, 0 recoveries, 100 deaths. The current 7-day rolling average of 7,543 new cases/day grew 38.9% from 14 days ago, while the average of 98 deaths/day grew 40% in Texas.

Yesterday there were 126,742 new confirmed cases, 40,674 recoveries, 1,040 deaths. The current 7-day rolling average of 103,880 new cases/day grew 51% from 14 days ago, while the average of 931 deaths/day grew 17.1%.
