COVID UPDATE: Not much to report over holidays
COVID report from Milam County Judge Steve Young:
We have not had a lot of reporting over the holiday from our medical providers. Tomorrow our medical department will be busy as I know there will be a lot of reporting. We will have a full update at the close of business tomorrow.
However, we do have six new probable cases to report. Twenty-nine cases were discharge over the break, including nine PCR cases and twenty probable cases. There were no new hospital admissions.
Tomorrow we will test in Rockdale at the former Rockdale Hospital from 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. If you are a Milam County resident with COVID symptoms we are happy to provide a free COVID antigen test.
The State will conduct free testing tomorrow as well from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the Milano fire station for anyone, with or without symptoms. This will be a PCR test, which will be sent to a lab for results.
