Ferris announces candidacy for Precinct 2 Commissioner

Dude Ferris has announced his candidacy for Milam County Commissioner Precinct 2.

Ferris was in the trucking business for 26 years, which branched off into several other businesses that include fleet repair, site prep, pads, driveways and a recycling business. 

He is currently employed with Milam County Precinct 2, giving him the skills to carry out the office of Commissioner.

“When elected your next Precinct 2 Commissioner I will strive to keep the tax rate as low as possible while maintaining essential county functions,” Ferris said. “I will work hard to maintain and improve the roads and bridges in Precinct 2 within the confines of the budget. I am ready to make a difference.”

Ferris is married to his wife of 34 years, Brenda, and they have two grown children and two grandchildren with one on the way.
