Fourth case of COVID-19 diagnosed in Milam County

Milam County Judge Steve Young announced that a fourth case of COVID-19 has been diagnosed in the county early this morning.

Young said the Milam County Health Department was notified of the case at 5 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

The person is not hospitalized at this time. The Health Department is investigating and will notify you if you have been in contact with this person.

So far in the county the first person diagnosed is recovered. The second person is out of the hospital and at home. The third and fourth people diagnosed are still recovering, but have not been hospitalized.

He asked that all county residents continue to stay home if they can and wear a mask when going out if you can.
