The Gause ISD Board of Trustees on Wednesday voted unanimously to name Teresa Russell as their lone finalist for Gause ISD Superintendent.
She will be replacing Brad Jones.
Russell is a familiar face for Gause as she has served the district for 24 years in several capacities. She began her education journey as a parent volunteer before becoming a teacher, principal, and head of special programs. Her tenure has since formed lasting relationships with students and parents. She has a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Angelo State University and a Bachelor Degree from Sam Houston State University.
