Grand opening set for new Milam County Annex

A grand opening is planned for the Milam County Annex on July 21 beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the Annex. Everyone is invited.
Several dignitaries will attend and tours will be available. A wall plaque will be unveiled and the building will be officially designated as the Milam County Annex.
The new facility will provide one stop shopping for County services, including the Tax Assessor/Collector’s office; the County Clerk’s office; the District Attorney’s office; Adult Probation; Juvenile Probation; Workforce Solutions; County Emergency Services; the County Auditor; the County Treasurer; Agri-Life Extension; and Bea’s Kitchen. The new facility will provide substantial cost savings to every Milam County taxpayer.
