Harris Sworn In As Mayor

Bill Harris was sworn in as Cameron’s new mayor during the May 5 City Council meeting. Last Monday council voted to certify that Harris was unopposed in the municipal election for mayor. Former Mayor Connie Anderle said this was a good move so that Harris would be in place before the budgeting process takes place. The election for the other two contested races for City Council will be held in November unless the state gives another directive.
