Memorial Ruck and Ride sets first meeting

The Milam Co Memorial Ruck and Ride will have their first meeting to plan this year’s 5th Annual event. The meeting will be held at VFW Post 2010 on May 2 at 6 p.m. With this milestone for the event, Bobbie Wiesman, requests assistance to ensure there’s a community wide effort to honor our neighbors who lost their lives in service to our country, state, and county. Although the event is a memorial, it also gives attention to uplifting the families of our hometown heroes. Honorees are US Army MSGT Charles Price III, 2LT Darryn Andrews, and Texas State Game Warden SGT Chris Wilson.
