Milam County Jail awards

Several members of the county jail staff have picked up awards for their service.
Milam County Sheriff Mike Clore announced the 2021 Milam County Jail staff awards.
Jailer of the Year goes to Sgt. Steven Aguilar with runner up Jacob Hernandez. The Most Valuable Jailer was given to Cpl. Darius Ford, Sr. and Crystal Corley. The runners up were Jacob Hernandez and Priscilla Herrera. Mr. and Ms. Dependable are Sgts. Matthew Spillers and Priscilla Herrera. The runners up are Sgt. Steven Aguilar and Lupita Avila.
The County Jail also recently passed their annual unannounced inspection.
