Rockdale man receives maximum sentence for sexual assault of child

Jamar Zamora, 21, of Rockdale was sentenced by Judge John W. Youngblood to twenty (20) years confinement in TDCJ after pleading guilty to a 2nd Degree Felony, Sexual Assault of a Child in the 20th Judicial District Court of Milam County.
Zamora received three 20-year sentences for three counts of Sexual Assault of Child stemming from July 1, 2020, offenses. ]The maximum punishment for a 2nd Degree Felony is twenty (20) years’ incarceration.
The incidents were investigated by the Milam County Sheriff’s Department.
First Assistant District Attorney Brian Price prosecuted the State’s cases.
