Rockdale woman dead after begin struck by car

A Rockdale woman is dead after being struck by a car Saturday night in Cameron.
According to the Cameron Police Department, they responded to the auto-pedestrian crash about 8:18 p.m. Saturday, April 2, at 4th and Orchard.
Officers arrived to find 62-year-old Judy Henderson had walked into the roadway and was struck by an eastbound vehicle. Cameron Chief Lonnie Gosch said that the vehicle was going the speed limit at the time.
Henderson was taken to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Witnesses told police that she walked out into traffic.
