Rotarians put up Little Free Library

Cameron Rotarians got on board with the latest Rotary District 5870 project to encourage people to read. The Cameron club put up a box in Rotary colors along with a blue and gold bench to accommodate anyone who wants to read there on the grounds of the new Milam County Annex on N. Crockett in Cameron. Anyone can borrow a book, take it home and read it. There isn’t a set length of time one can keep the book, but borrowers are encouraged to return it once it’s been read, so the next borrower will have access to it. Anyone who would like to donate books to the cause is encouraged to put them in the  Little Library.  Please make sure the books are complete and intact. There will be books for both children and adults. Rotary International has helped hundreds of clubs put these libraries up across the country. Members hope you will check out a book and enjoy reading it.
