Spreading holiday joy
A group of pastors from the community spread holiday cheer recently to the residents at the Cameron Housing Authority. They gave bags of fruit, nuts, and candy, and held prayer and sang songs with residents. This is the second year of the program. Pastor Charles Harrison said he would like to thank all who gave from there heart to help the children, to sing Christmas songs, and to all who opened their doors and welcomed us in, we love you and say thank you so much. The group gahered at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church and on the Battle Field Across The street from the community and went caroling, praying and encouraging the community and always letting them know there is a church family that loves you. Harrison said a big thank you goes to pastors Geoff Lightsey, Moses Vaca, Abraham Lopez, and Elder Bud Barnes.
