Spring Festival set for March 25 in conjunction with MCJLS

The Chamber of Commerce and Cameron Economic Development will host a Downtown Cameron Spring Festival on Friday, March 25, in conjuction with the Milam County Junior Livestock Show. 

The festival will be held from 3-9 p.m. in downtown. 

The event coincides with the Milam County Youth Livestock Fair and takes place downtown Cameron on S. Central Avenue between Main and Gillis just steps away from the Youth Livestock show.  Enjoy the Youth exhibits; music by local favorite South 77 Band; an evening street dance; food trucks; craft beer; Texas wines; arts; crafts; and, fun and games for the whole family.

The Milam County Junior Livestock Show will kick off its 2022 season March 23-26.

The baked goods judging and sale is set for March 19.

The rabbit show is set for March 23 at 5:30 p.m.

Commercial heifers and the ag mechanics show are set for March 24. The poultry show will also be held at 5:30 p.m. that night.

On Friday, March 25, judging of animals will begin at 9 a.m. with swine, followed by goats, lambs, breeding heifers and market steers.

The Commercial Heifer sale is set for Saturday, March 26, at 11 a.m. The Premium Livestock Sale will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
