State Farm named Business of the Month

The Cameron Chamber of Commerce recognized State Farm Insurance, agent Julie Sulak, as January 2020 Business of the month. State Farm Insurance Agency started back in 1976 with Julie’s father, Hal D. Stanislaw as the first agent in Cameron. Before his retirement Julie Stanislaw Sulak returned to Cameron in 2000 and for the past twenty years has run the insurance agency. She first worked for State Farm Insurance as a claims adjuster going to disaster areas such as the 1994 San Francisco California Earthquake, two Hurricanes in North Carolina and one in Florida, before returning to Cameron. Julie Sulak is a strong community supporter and leader. She has a passion for the success of her community and the people all around her. Her daughter Holly Sulak Gommert now works at the agency, so we may see a 3rd generation as State Farm Agent in Cameron.
