Steak, Stein and Wine Festival this weekend

Downtown Cameron will be the place to be this Saturday, Oct. 12, as The Cameron Chamber of Commerce and 44 Farms 7th Annual Steak, Stein & Wine Festival kicks off.

This is an exciting year for the event as the featured performer is the national sensation, LOCASH. Pair that with your grilled 44 Farms steak dinner and a hometown street dance; that feels like a party.

With the introduction of their latest single, “Hometown Home,” the Cameron Chamber of Commerce could not be happier to show off our ‘hometown’ with this exciting performance.

Charlotte Pipe and Foundry Company is the Event Underwriter this year.

“It is an honor to support this event benefiting the Cameron Chamber of Commerce,” Jeff Nahrgang, the National Accounts Manager for Charlotte Pipe said.  “As a fifth-generation, family-owned company, supporting the communities where we live and work is a core part of Charlotte Pipe’s values, and we’re proud to be firmly engaged in Cameron. We’ve been a part of this community for over 40 years now. We are grateful for the community’s support of our business and look forward to being involved in the Cameron community for years to come.”

A 44 Farms steak dinner with all the trimmings will be served on Saturday evening with two dining times available, 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Local pitmaster, Sam Berry from Circle S BBQ & Catering, is firing up the grills so grab your tickets, savor every bite, and raise your glass to good times. You will enjoy your dinner inside The Venue at Railfan in historic downtown Cameron. Each Steak dinner guest will have access to a reserved area for seating for the free LOCASH concert at 8 p.m. So, bring your lawn chairs for a concert under the Texas stars.

Join us for the Cameron Car Club Car Show starting at 9 am. Enjoy antique and vintage vehicles, downtown shopping, vendors, Texas wineries, craft breweries, food trucks, and a kid-friendly area. Do not miss the opportunity to tour the Historic Milam County Jail and the Railroad Museum, as well as the Milam County Historical Museum.
