Yoe FFA had a great day at the Area XII Convention in Temple on May 14. Students were officially awarded their CDE banners for successes this spring. Tessa Vaculin won the Jr.
Precinct 2 voters elected James Denman to serve as commissioner in a runoff race on May 24.
Denman received 339 votes to challenger Doug Baker’s 209 votes.
The Cameron ISD Board of Trustees certified the election to approve a bond on Monday to build new Career and Technology and Ag facilities in the district. The bond passed by a vote of 484-483.
Yoe High students McKenzie Lara and Kylie Leftwich place flowers on the grave of C.H. and Caroline Yoe on May 12. The annual Yoe Day ceremony was held to honor Mr. and Mrs.
