The Cameron City Council voted against two variances on Monday night. One would have brought a new manufacturing company downtown and one would have allowed for a RV Park on Highway 77.
A spectacular Model Train Show is coming to Cameron on April 5.
The one-day show will begin Saturday at 9 a.m. and run until 5 p.m.
