Ballot set for May 4 city, school elections

The ballot is set for the May 4 city and school elections. Three city council places are up for grabs. Mayor George Galbreath Jr. will run unopposed. Four people have filed for two open council seats. Incumbent Stephanie Churchman and newcomers Ashleigh Towery Moehling, Gerald Niemtschk and Jared Melde. Those three spots are currently held by Churchman and Larry Drabek. There are also three at large spots on the school board up for grabs. The three incumbents David Hall, Kirk Becker and Dean Betak have filed for re-election.

Early voting begins in April.
