Margaret Caroline Zotz
Margaret Caroline Zotz, 93, of Cameron died Sunday, April 14, in a Cameron nursing facility.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 22, at St. Monica’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Monica’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday with a rosary at 5 p.m. at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Zotz, a homemaker, was born Feb. 22, 1926, in Dauphin, Penn., to Edward B. and Margaret Caroline (Fite) Evans. She married Lawrence Zotz on Oct. 28, 1945, and he preceded her in death in 2012. She was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church where she was also a member of the St. Monica’s Ladies Society.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Zotz; and two brothers, Ronald Evans and Edward Evans.
She is survived by: sons, Lawrence Patrick Zotz of Cameron, and Edward Michael Zotz and wife Sue of McKinney; daughters, Frances Louise King and husband Tommy of Rosebud, and Elizabeth Jackson and husband James of Rosebud; nine grandchildren, Julie Westerman, Eric King, Paul Zotz, Ryan Zotz, Jeffrey Zotz, Matthew Jackson, Megan DeLaCruz, Mallory Brewer, and Jennifer Herrscher; and four great-grandchildren, Claire Westerman, Luke Westerman, Grayson King and Finn DeLaCruz.
Memorials may be made the St. Monica’s Ladies Society.
