FunFest and BBQ Shootout canceled for this weekend

The Cameron BBQ Shootout and Funfest that was scheduled for this weekend has been postponed due to heavy rain and the flooding last week.

Organizers decided to postpone the event, which was set for May 10-11, due to anticipated heavy rain this weekend.

The new dates will be Aug. 16-17.

Organizers said they will contact all BBQ teams and Beer & Brat Trot participants to discuss the new date.
