Carolyn Sue Baker

Funeral services for Ms. Carolyn Sue Baker, 63, of Cameron, were held Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019, at the Kathryn W. Green Chapel of Green-Patterson Funeral Home with Minister Brett Hickey officiating.  Ms. Baker passed away Saturday, Aug. 24, at her residence. Burial followed in the Marlow Cemetery. Visitation for the family was held on Monday, Aug. 26, at the funeral home.

Carolyn was born July 16, 1956, in Cameron to Choice B. and Lillie Mae (Condray) Baker. She was a graduate of Milano High School in 1974. She was a member of the Hoyte Church of Christ. Carolyn was a dedicated gardener and was always known for her exceptional gardens. She leaves behind numerous loving cousins, friends and neighbors.

She is survived by her brothers, Leland, Alton and Harold Baker, all of Cameron, Wilfred Baker and wife Alice, of Cameron; and her sisters, Erna Mae Gann and husband David, and Joyce Gann and husband Billy, all of Cameron, and Inez Crow and husband Danny of Milano. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Monroe Baker in 2001; and one sister, Earleen Baker in 1998.

The family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to Standards of Care and to Standards Hospice of Cameron for their exceptional care of Carolyn in her final days. They would also like to invite everyone to a meal, following the funeral services, at Cameron Church of Christ Annex building at the corner of Third and Central Streets.
