York Years Reunion set

A reunion of players, coaches, managers, trainers and administrators will be held on Oct. 4-5. 

This is the week that the Yoemen play Katy St. John. On Friday, Oct. 4, the Yoe High Cafeteria and Commons will be open at 5 p.m. as a reception area prior to the game. 

The teams will be recognized at halftime after the Yoe Band performs. After the game, the cafeteria will remain open as reception area. 

On Saturday, Oct. 5, the Yoe High Cafeteria and Commons will again host the reunion attendees starting at 11 a.m. Toby York was the Head Coach and AD for the Yoemen for the 1981-1987 football with a record of 78-11-1. His teams brought the town its first state championship and lost only one game at Yoe Field during his tenure.
