Jodie L. Koenig, 88, of Cameron died Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019, in a Temple hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 14, 2019, at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron. Burial followed in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday at the funeral home before the services.
Mr. Koenig, a retired pipefitter, was born Aug. 24, 1931, in Milam County to Otto and Loraine (Sypert) Koenig. He was a member of the 211 pipefitters union in Deer Park and was a Baptist.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Joe, Mary Jane and Brenda; brothers, Otto Jr. and Lester Koenig; and sisters, Clara Martin and Shirley Dach.
Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
