Sarah Page with the Texas Historical Commission speaks about the Texas Heritage Trails Program and heritage tourism during a summit held on Nov. 20 to discuss Milam County tourism and how to get it and keep it at Little River Event Center. Other speakers included Andrea Barefield with the Texas Historical Commission, Tom Byrd with El Camino Real de Los Tejas National Historic Trail, Jay Firshing with ArchiTexas, and Raymond Greenwood and Rose Jordan with the City of Mineral Wells, who spoke on the transformation of their downtown and the renovation of the Baker Hotel.
