Jesse William Mitcham

Jesse William Mitcham, 99, of Itasca and formerly of Milam County, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2019, in an Itasca nursing home. 

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, at the Sharp Cemetery. Visitation and viewing will be 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

Mr. Mitcham, a retired auto mechanic, was born Nov. 21, 1920, in Milam County to Vivion and Blanche (Hazelwood) Mitcham. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Flora Belle in 2015; by a daughter, Narae Estrada; a son, Roy Mitcham; by a brother and a sister. 

He is survived by: daughter, Reba Mitcham of Hillsboro; sons, Jerry Mitcham of Hailey, Idaho, and Jesse Mitcham of Hubbard; brother, Vivion Mitcham of Longview; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home of Cameron is in charge of arrangements.
