Yoemen fall to Groesbeck in opener

The Cameron Yoemen fell to Groesbeck after a late score Monday night 2-1.

The game was tied at 1 with Groesbeck batting in the top of the sixth when they singled on the first pitch of the at bat scoring.

Brannon McCall took the loss for the Yoemen. He went six and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out four.

The Yoemen collected six hits. Landon Green and Tracer Lopez both had multiple hits for Cameron.

The Yoemen didn’t commit any errors in the field. Dillan Akin scored the single run for the Yoemen.

The Yoemen are back in action this weekend in tournament play in Liberty Hill/Marble Falls.
