City water bills are in the mail

City of Cameron water bills are finally in the mail.

City officials announced today that residents should begin receiving their water bills soon.

City Secretary Amy Harris said phone payments and online payments are still not working. The city's software company is conducting maintenance and will hopefully have that up and running quickly. 

"We are installing new credit card machines here at city hall for contactless payments and will hopefully have those fully functional before May 11," Harris said. "Check and money order payments can be sent in by mail or placed in the drop box.  We will send out a notice as soon as our credit card payment is available. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience!"
