Cameron Public Library now offering curbside service, still not open

IRS Forms are available at the library.  Call us at (254) 697-2401 and give us a list of the forms that you need. We will package them and call you to set an appointment for picking up the forms. We wear masks and use gloves and sanitizer when preparing the packages.

The library will continue to provide curbside delivery.  You can visit our catalog website at https://cameron.biblionix/catalog/ to choose your books for checkout; or call us to see if we have the books you want to read.  Log in as a patron with your card number and password (which is your phone number that is on file with the library), you can reserve two books on the library site. If you want to reserve more than two books, call us at (254) 697-2401 and tell us the author and titles of the books (or drop us a note through the book drop with your name and phone number). We will set up a time for pickup and then we will then prepare them for you.

We will be closed to the public the rest of this month, and are not able to offer copy, fax, print, or notary services at this time.  We also will not be providing computer use until further notice.  Our WiFi is free, you just need to call us for the password.

Some of the new books added this last week include:  “Chosen Ones” by Veronica Roth; “The House of Kennedy” by James Patterson;  “Redhead by the Side of the Road” by Anne Tyler; “The Ancestor” by Danielle Trussoni; “The Wedding Dress” by Danielle Steel; volumes 2 and 3 of the Marcus Ryker series by Joel C. Rosenberg (“The Persian Gamble” and “The Jerusalem Assassin”; “Hour of the Assassin” by Matthew Quirk; “One Fatal Flaw” by Anne Perry (#3 in the Daniel Pitt series); “Revenge” by James Patterson; books 1-4 in the Timber Creek K-9 Mystery series by Margaret Mizushima; the complete A Breed Apart series by Roni Kendig; #8 in the Lady Darby series by Anna Lee Huber; “The Lost Husband” by Katherine Center; and “The Book of Candlelight”, #3 in the Secret, Book, and Scone Society series.

If you have questions all us anytime between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday.

When books are returned, they are placed in quarantine for three days before we can check them out again.  We also do the same with our new books when they are delivered and after they are prepared to distribution.  We disinfect all items coming into the library and again before passing them out. Be safe!
