Milam County announces first case of COVID-19 in over a week

Milam County has its newest case of COVID-19. The first in over a week.

Milam County Judge Steve Young announced Monday the county has learned of a 29th positive case of COVID-19.

He said the patient, who lives in the central part of the county, is hospitalized, but is not currently in ICU.

This is the first case in the county since May 21.  

As of Monday afternoon, there were three active cases in the county and eight persons are being monitored.
